True!!!! Life is how you look at it. If you let every tiny thing annoy you and decide that your life is terrible, then it is. If you instead shake off the little things and look at larger problems as issues that will eventually be resolved then life can be wonderful. Unfortunately towards the end of the winter, due to not enough sunlight and too much cold, even the happiest of people can start to become less chipper. The simple solution is to focus on more self care, aka more sleep, healthier food, spending time with friends and exercise. Join me on Saturday at 4:30pm @lucentyoga and spend 75 minutes on your self care. Your body and mind will thank you afterwards with a brighter resolve. And hey, if that doesn’t work then there’s always chocolate. 😉

Reverse Warrior, aka Peaceful Warrior, is a graceful yet strong pose. This pose strengthens the legs and core while opening the chest and side ribs. It’s important to remember to keep the front leg bent as only the upper body bends back (otherwise it becomes a Reverse Triangle). Come and practice your Reverse Warrior with me at my 4:30pm Saturday class @lucentyoga.

Spine flexibility, core strength and open hips are all super important as we age, the more we have of each, the less chance of injury and pain.
