Yoga can do a lot of good with physical problems with yoga. For example, easing chronic back pain.
But Yoga can ALSO get hurt you or worsening an existing condition. It is nothing to be afraid: you can get hurt sleeping in bed also.
Yoga is about self awareness not invulnerability. If it hurts and doesn’t stop change your routine (yoga and other wise), considering seeing a doctor. For all physical and mental benefits yoga brings it is not a universal panacea.
